The preservation and development of the Assyrian/Aramaic language is of critical importance, particularly given its historical suppression in many Middle Eastern countries. This suppression has resulted in a noticeable decline in both the speaking and writing of the language over the years. Consequently, there is an urgent need to employ modern tools that can facilitate the preservation and growth of this valuable linguistic heritage.

The concept for the Darbo app emerged a few years ago as we observed children engaging with various applications that employed innovative game mechanics, such as Memory. These games effectively promoted pronunciation, word spelling, and provided visual representations, capturing interest while fostering learning. Inspired by this, our objective was clear: to develop an application dedicated to our native tongue that is both accessible and engaging, aimed at enriching vocabulary while instilling interest in the language.

While we have several ideas for enhancing the current version of the app with additional functionalities, advancing these concepts will necessitate support and collaboration.
